Born in the Canadian city named after Brian Mulroney - Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, in 1921. Served four years (overseas) with the R.C.A.F. in WWII, as armourer in #135 Hurricane Fighter Squadron in Alaska and #442 Sunderland Flying boat Squadron in Ireland and Wales. Attended the University of Saskatchewan from 1946 to 1951, obtaining degrees in Arts and Law. Hobbies: stand-up comedy; Little Theatre - produced and acted in longest running annual burlesque revue (20 years) in western Canada, during a 34 year practice of law in Peace River, Northern Alberta. Other interests - Western Director of Croquet Canada - ranking Canadian player of six wicket International croquet. Antique playing marble collector - writer, and continuing to do so, trying for further publications before kick-off time.
